Install on LG WebOS Smart Signage

Overview

This article explains how to run the Lumicast player on LG Smart Signage displays running webOS.

Supported hardware

All LG Smart Signage displays running webOS version 4 and later.

Install the player

Open the Server settings menu

1. On the LG remote, press Home or Settings.
2. Locate SI Server Setting and press OK.
3. Select SI Server Setting and press OK.
4. In the SI Server Setting menu, set each field in order:
   • Application Launch Mode → Local
   • Fully Qualified Domain Name → On, URL: https://lumicast.com/webos.ipk
   • Application Type → IPK
   • Local Application Upgrade → press the REMOTE button. This starts the download.
5. After the download completes, reboot the LG Smart Signage device.
