Activity Log
The Activity Log is an audit trail of everything that happens in your workspace — who created, edited, published, or deleted content, and when.
What is tracked
Every significant action on a content item or display is recorded:
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Create | A new item was created |
| Update | An item was edited |
| Rename | An item was renamed |
| Move | An item was moved to a different folder |
| Delete | An item was deleted |
| Publish | A playlist or campaign was published |
| Revert | A playlist or campaign was reverted to its previous published state |
| Set content | Content was assigned to a display |
| Clear content | Content was removed from a display |
| Action | A display action was triggered (reboot, refresh, clear cache) |
The following resource types are tracked: pages, media items, playlists, campaigns, apps, links, messages, data sources, displays, and folders.
Each entry records:
- What changed (resource type and name)
- Who made the change (user name, or API key name for programmatic actions)
- When it happened
Viewing the activity log
The activity log is accessible per content item. Open any page, playlist, campaign, or other content item and look for the Activity panel or history icon. This shows the full edit history for that specific item.
Who can see it
Any workspace member can view the activity log for content they have access to. The log is read-only — entries cannot be edited or deleted.
