Install on Android TV or other Android devices

The setup can differ per device. The two supported install methods below cover most Android TVs, Android boxes and signage devices.

• An Android-based TV, box or device

Installation methods

Google Play Store (recommended if available)

If your device has the Google Play Store, install the Lumicast Signage Player directly. Search for "Lumicast Signage Player" and install.

Sideload APK

If your device doesn't have Play Store or Amazon Appstore access, sideload the APK instead. See How to sideload the Lumicast Player APK on Android.

Enable auto start

You want Lumicast to launch automatically when the device turns on. See Start the Lumicast player on startup for Android devices.
