Start the Lumicast player on startup (Android)

First make sure you've installed the Lumicast Signage Player on your Android device.

Enabling auto start

1. Open the Lumicast Signage Player app.
2. Press OK/Enter on your remote, or on a touch device swipe up anywhere on the screen. This opens the menu.
3. Select Launch on boot and enable it. It may ask for permission to Draw over other apps — grant it.
4. Select Launch on boot again — the red cross should become a green checkmark.

Testing auto start

Reboot the device completely.

Using a Chromecast or similar? Pressing the power button only puts it to sleep, so turning it back on won't trigger the app's autostart. Instead, reboot via Settings > System > Restart.

The Lumicast player should launch once the device comes back on.

The app didn't start automatically?

Your device probably doesn't support the normal auto-start flow. Follow the advanced ADB steps in the FireTV Stick install guide.
