Accept a workspace invite

When a teammate invites you to a Lumicast workspace, you get an email with a link. Follow it to join the workspace and start collaborating.

What you need

• The invite email from Lumicast — subject line starts with "You've been invited…".
• Access to the email address the invite was sent to. Invites are bound to a specific address and can't be accepted with a different one.

Step 1 — Open the invite link

Click the Accept invite button in the email. It opens Lumicast in your browser at a URL that looks like app.lumicast.com/invite/….

Lumicast then checks whether you already have an account for the invited email.

Step 2a — You don't have a Lumicast account yet

You'll be redirected to Register, with the email pre-filled. Set a password and complete sign-up. As soon as registration finishes, Lumicast accepts the invite for you and drops you into the new workspace.

Step 2b — You already have a Lumicast account

You'll be redirected to Log in. Sign in with the same email address as the invite. Lumicast accepts the invite automatically and switches you into the new workspace.

Wrong email signed in

If you're already logged in under a different email than the invite, Lumicast logs you out and sends you to the login page with the correct email pre-filled. Log in with that email and the invite resumes.

Step 3 — Confirm you're in

After accepting, you land on the workspace dashboard. Check the workspace name in the top-left — it should match the one the inviter mentioned.

To switch between multiple workspaces you belong to, use the workspace picker in the top-left.

Troubleshooting

"This invite no longer exists" — the invite was revoked or already accepted. Ask the inviter to send a new one.

Invite email didn't arrive — check spam. If it's not there, the inviter can re-send it from Workspace → Users by clicking the pending invite and pressing Resend.

You want to change which email the invite was sent to — the inviter needs to revoke the original invite and send a new one to the right address.
