Template Pages

A template page is a page with designated editable areas. It lets you create a consistent design once, then let other people fill in specific parts — text, images, or other content — without being able to accidentally break the layout.

This is especially useful when multiple people are responsible for content, or when the same layout is reused with different information each time.

Creating a template page

  1. Build a normal page in the Page Editor with your full design
  2. Click any element you want others to be able to edit
  3. Click Make editable in the right panel
  4. Give the editable layer a name — this name is shown to editors when they use the template
  5. Editable layers are marked with a pink icon

Once a page has at least one editable layer, it automatically appears as a template option when creating new pages.

Using a template

When creating a new page, choose your template from the list. The page editor opens as normal, but only the editable layers can be modified — the rest of the layout is locked.

This keeps your brand and layout consistent while letting content editors focus only on what they need to change.
