# YouTube app

Embed a YouTube video on your display.

## Creating a YouTube app

1. Go to **Content > New > App** and search for the **YouTube** app.
2. Click the app to start creating a new app.
3. Enter an **app name**.
4. Paste the **YouTube video URL** (e.g. `https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=…`).
5. Click **Create app**.

::: warning Embedding must be allowed
The video's uploader must allow embedding. Unlisted or embeddable public videos work; videos that disable embedding won't play.
