# Vimeo app

Embed a Vimeo video on your display.

## Creating a Vimeo app

1. Go to **Content > New > App** and search for the **Vimeo** app.
2. Click the app to start creating a new app.
3. Enter an **app name**.
4. Paste the **Vimeo video URL** (e.g. `https://vimeo.com/123456789`).
5. Click **Create app**.

::: warning Embedding must be allowed
The video's privacy settings on Vimeo must permit embedding on external sites — otherwise nothing plays. If in doubt, open the Vimeo video's privacy settings and enable "Embed → Anywhere".
