# Audio Player app

Play and visualize an audio stream (e.g. a radio station) on your screens. Includes an animated background visualizer.

## Creating an Audio Player app

1. Go to **Content > New > App** and search for the **Audio Player** app.
2. Click the app to start creating a new app.
3. Enter an **app name**.
4. Enter the **Audio stream URL** — any publicly accessible HTTP/HTTPS audio stream (MP3, AAC, or HLS). Internet radio stations usually publish their stream URL on their site.
5. Click **Create app**.

::: tip Make sure the display has audio
If the player device is muted or has no audio output, nothing plays. Many TVs used as signage have their built-in speakers disabled — check hardware audio settings on the player device first.
